Time Recorder for IFS Data/Privacy Policy What Is This Document About? Cedar Bay provides an app for iOS and Android devices called Time Recorder (for IFS). Time Recorder allows users to update their employers IFS system to record time against work orders, projects etc. To do this, the app uses the IFS TouchApps system to communicate with an IFS customers IFS system.

As part of recent European law changes, apps are now required to explain how personal information collected of the user of the app is collected and handled. This document explains this for the Time Recorder app.
Collection And Use Of Personal Information Personal information is data that can be used to uniquely identify a specific person. By using the Time Recorder app, you (the End-user), consent to the privacy practices described in this IFS Touch Apps Privacy Policy. What Personal Information Is Collected? When you use the Time Recorder App we will collect a variety of information required to operate the app. This includes your user name, password, your device's operating system version and device description, and the time/project/work order/etc information that is entered during the running of the app. How Is Your Personal Information Used? The login information (user name, password) is used to authenticate you with your employers IFS system. The operating system and other device information may be recorded for diagnostic and statistical usage (e.g. to graph popularity of Android versions to determine where effort should be spent on improvements) and may also be logged by the IFS Touch Apps services.

The remaining information entered during the usage of the app is submitted into your employers IFS system to be used for billing and is subject to their data policies and employment contracts.

We may also use personal information for internal purposes such as auditing, data analysis, and research to improve Cedar Bays' products and services.

We may also disclose information about you if we determine that for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary or appropriate.
